Forum des Halles, Grande Galerie, Paris France
2005 – 2007
Light conveys a rhythm, it move gradually through the translucent wall, catching up with the passengers. It radiates all around as it passes. Two coloured lights gradually move, face to face, meeting passers-by – colour spreads over the body – join and fill the wall. One is green, the other magenta; they are complementary. When they finish moving the lights fade, a kind of void that makes an intense white light spring forth (magenta and green lights added together) like a flash. Lights envelop bodies. Visitors are immersed in lights as time unfolds.
